Students are given the opportunity every year to make a Christmas gift for their teacher and learn woodworking skills at the same time. They measure, cut, sand, paint, etc. This small act empowers the children and brings them so much confidence and joy to give a gift they made with their own hands. This is an annual event and volunteers are needed to help assist the children and provide the materials for the gifts.
