TUTORING & MENTORING

K-5 MENTORING & TUTORING

Neighborhood families have a great option for tutoring and mentoring care through our Monday and Wednesday meetings. They are from 3:30-5:00 and open to Senoia Public Housing residents and nearby neighborhoods. It’s free, diverse, convenient, and proven to keep students on track for progressing to the next grade level. We provide opportunities to complete homework and connect to self, neighbors, and the God of the Bible. We stress character including truthfulness, good manners, accountability, and dependability. This program is available for children Kindergarten thru fifth grade.

6-12 MENTORING & TUTORING

Youth aged 6th grade thru 12th grade meet on Wednesdays at 5:00PM for dinner, Bible Study and life skills. Youth are taught about the gospel around the dinner table. We also seek to prepare students for life beyond high school—wherever that takes them by teaching them about their strengths in personality, their gifts, life skills such as cooking, hygiene, car maintenance, drug and sex abstinence, dispute resolution and job interview skills.
